TITAN Leadership Handbook
Visual identity, character design & layout for Titan's leadership development handbook
Big Bang Awards, Ad Club Bangalore (2018) — Employee Communication
The Challenge
TITAN wanted a handbook for employees to understand which skills they need to develop in their current leadership role, and which skills will take them to the next level.
Our challenge was to turn this information into something readable and interesting. The first step was to find repeated content and trim it down until it was crisp and precise.

Character Design
We then explored character designs that would lend a human touch to the entire handbook: the TITAN Girl Squad and the TITAN Boy Squad.

Design Language
We extended TITAN's colour palette to colour-code the different sections of the book, choosing fresh colours that set a clear distinction while being easy on the eye.
We also developed text lockups to keep the pages consistent and make the context easier to understand.

Level Selection
We were inspired by century calendars, which show the date and day of a hundred years at once with a simple wheel. Using the same technique, the handbook guides each reader to what's relevant for them.

The Final Design

Cover Design
Once most of the book was ready, we wanted an iconic image for the cover.
The iceberg diagram of leadership development was the perfect icon for a competency development handbook. We used it as the base and developed it into the cover image.
